Polished and Pretty with Angie - Color Street Review

So ever since I joined Younique a couple months back, I've changed my perspective on these direct sales small businesses. Yes, some of their managers may be a bit annoying and overbearing but we're all just out here trying to share the products we love and make some money for our families. But I'll save that rant for a later post.

Anyways, a woman I went to high school, Angie, with recently paired with Color Street nails. I had heard of the brand from a couple vendor shows I had been a part of so I was already slightly aware of what they were. I reached out to Angie to learn more of the products. She was extremely friendly and helpful and was generous enough to send me some samples to try.

I chose the Mardi Gras samples and let me tell you, I adore them. They're bright and bold and definitely brighten up my always black nails (I work with oil and greasy so just generally stick to black nail polish). It was SUPER simple to apply them and there's no mess or dry time and I was able to do it quickly in between chasing my daughter around.

Stay tuned for another follow up post to see how they hold up with my work and over time (my nails do grow super fast so I'm mostly gonna focus on chipping). Most of the results I'm seeing are lasting 2+ weeks which would be awesome for me.

Cost comparison: say you get a manicure you're looking at $35-$75 a month for upkeep. Color Street is $11-14 for a set of 16 and is constantly running deals and special (Buy 3 get 1 free, etc). So you're looking at $22-28 a month with a fourth of the work and you don't have to leave home or find a sitter. I'm very excited to order my first full set and start using Color Street regularly so I can actually have good looking nails and avoid all the hassle of finding time!
