Rock Fest 2013 was absolutely amazing. It was in Cabott, Wisconsin which ended up being 10 hours away and we drove. Talk about too long in a car. It was worth it though. I went with my dad, his girlfriend, and my eight year old sister Candyel. My dad had bought us all reserved seating which meant we were closer to the stage and we got our own lawn chairs that we got to take home. The third day we walked outside our hotel (the day after seeing the Offspring in concert) and saw Kevin Wasserman (guitarist of The Offspring) hanging out outside our hotel, which was 40 minutes from the concert, having a cigarette so we stopped and talked to him for a bit. Then we loaded up a cooler of beer and headed over early where we met up with Nick, Mitch, and Sota (hes from Minnesota and the other two were from Illinois) who had parked beside us in a decked out van. We hung out, played some beer pong, and had a good time. The fourth day we all got to meet the band Otherwise, which if you haven't heard of them, look them up. They are easily one of my favorite bands and I can't wait to see them in concert again. The whole trip was fantastic and I'm looking forward to going again next year.

Tennessee;; Vacation!

So my roommate and three of my friends loaded up in my little cruiser and headed for Sevierville, Tennessee after I got off work at 7:30am on friday. We got to the lodge around 3 something and got our room. We headed out to dinner and then hit the waterpark for a little bit. Saturday morning my roommate and I hit up the local flea markets and did some shopping then the rest of the time was spent at the water park all day. My roommate worked on our tans while the other three hit the slides and rides. We met up in the room later that night for some shots and pizza. Sunday we got up early and checked out then went out for breakfast then hit the outlet stores for some shopping before heading to my mom's in Cleveland, Tennessee. We crashed there and headed back to ohio around 6am and got home around 2.

Short vacation but it was much needed and I ended up having a lot of fun and loved getting to spend time with my friends and see my mom's new house down there. Can't wait to go back later this year :)

Mini Vacation // West Virginia

So I think I've mentioned it before but my dad got relocated to West Virginia for his job so he now has a house down there in Sissonville, close to Charleston. A couple weekends ago we met up with my step mom, Nikki and took a trip down for the long Easter weekend :)

The Drive:

Well its a 4 hour+ trip down there with 7 people from ages 7 to 30 so it was interesting. But we jammed out to some Three Days Grace and Hollywood Undead and had a good time 

Day One:

Dad decided we needed some "culture" so we were loaded up and taken to see a bridge. I didn't get it really but dad enjoyed it so we looked at the bridge and ate Shoney's and then spent the evening watching American Dad and drinking some Bud Light. 

Day Two:

We got to go shooting! My dad's coworker owns some land out in BFE and has a ton of guns so he let us come out and shoot his guns, fish, hike, and have a cook out. It was so much fun. Then we ended up going back to my dads and having a second night of American Dad and Bud Light.
