Glenn St. Project #1 [Painting Downstairs Bathroom]

So, little back story, we currently rent our home and our landlord is super cool and totally okay with any modifications we make (as long as we don't paint it super wild colors that are hard to cover if necessary). Because I'm currently in a rut because I hate my job, I've focused my negative energy into making our house nicer while we live here.

Little about our place: it's TOTALLY 70s. Like trippy carpet and all. It has two massive bedrooms and 1 and a half baths, big backyard, and small garage/workshop.

So the girls were at their aunts for the weekend (I swear they have a more active social life than most adults). Kid free meant that I got ambitious and wanted to start all the projects. J said I had to focus on one thing at a time so I decided I'd start with painting the downstairs bathroom that was currently some psychedelic star panel board something or other.

I picked a paint that was supposed to be a blue/grey, after the first coat I was panicking because I swore it looked purple.

But now that it's done, I think I like it.
