Mass Update

Alrighty so the past couple months have been absolutely nuts... so here is what's up:

• Lost my job at FedMo on some crazy BS that I won't go into because I'm a professional. Honestly, I never thought I could feel such RELIEF being walked out of a place. 
• When one door closes, another one opens. I was offered a position at Greif Brothers (which is literally across the street from my house. I walk to work) where I will make more money than I've ever made by the end of September. Only downside has been adjusting to biweekly paychecks. 
• While waiting to start Greif, I picked up a part time job as a housekeeper at a hotel across town and I actually really like it and the people are fantastic. So now I work there every weekend and one day during the week.
• Saturday, I wrapped up my summer semester at Ivy Tech with all As and Bs
• Yesterday, I scheduled my final classes with Ivy and will be graduating October 19th with an Associates Degree in Business Administration and Certificate in Human Resource Management!
• A couple weeks ago, I finally admitted defeat and confessed that Purdue University was not the right fit for me. I hate the full semester classes, Blackboard is impossible to navigate and keep up with, and I have never received any help or assistance from any of my professors or advisors. To top it off, they informed me that they cannot complete my degree completely online (even though my degree is Business Management via Distance) so that was the last straw for me.
• I applied to Southeastern Oklahoma State University on recommendation from my sister in law and hope to be getting my acceptance information soon and start scheduling my classes to get an end date for my Bachelors!
• I have finally finished painting my laundry room and decided to tear out the old indoor/outdoor carpet so now I just need to get some vinyl or tile to do the floor and some border for the walls and I'll be posting that reno.
• Still waiting to find a good time to refinish the hardwoods in my dining room
• Hoping to start the house buying process after we pay off my car at tax time so super super excited and hope it all goes well. 
• Oh and we have a new addition. Stay tuned😉

Here's to the Future

CLEARLY I have sucked recently with the upkeeping of this blog but it has been pure craziness in my world. Which is actually what drew me back to this blog because I love writing, its always been my go to thing because I suck at speaking my feelings and thoughts, and so by posting said thoughts and feelings here it gives me a sense of relief and takes a bit of stress away. With that being said, y'all obviously don't have to read this nonsense or even look at anymore of it but I do appreciate those of you that do and I absolutely love any feedback that comes out of my posts because I like to think this stuff is gonna be relatable.

 So HERES TO THE FUTURE!

Let me start with a little disclosure:

• The overall layout and look of the blog is gonna change and there is a very good chance it could take me a couple sittings and days to get it all fixed. I apologize in advance for any messiness.
• I do swear a lot in the real world and in some cases I'm going to swear here so this may not be suitable for everyone to read. 
• Also, I'm prolly gonna talk about some touchy subjects (I.e labor/delivery, breastfeeding, birth control, etc.) because its apart of my life and I feel like others can relate to it or even benefit from my experiences
• My grammar is not perfect, I use "prolly" and "y'all" quite frequently because I write how I talk. Sorry.
• Some of the posts are going to be a lot more of me just venting and using this as my virtual diary rather than really intellectual posts. Again, sorry.
• If anything on here you find offensive or would like to discuss: PLEASE go to the contact me section and get a hold of me.

Next order of business is what's coming up!:

• I'm obviously gonna tell y'all about my daughter Dakota and the whole nightmare I went through
• I'd like to talk about Breastfeeding Awareness month (even though it's now over) and my struggles with it personally. Anyone out there who had good or bad experiences: I would love to hear from you and be able to include you in this post. 
• Meet the fam! I'll introduce y'all to my fur babies since they are pretty awesome☺️
• The current debate on whether or not to baptize Dakota - I would LOVE some personal opinions and stories to put in this post if any of y'all wanna contribute.

Any other ideas y'all wanna throw my way, I'd love to hear them because I'm extremely excited to get up and running again. 

Apologies & Explainations

SO! HEY THERE! I'm back again. Its crazy that its been nearly a year since I've posted on here. Looks like the place needs a major remodel and some new material so I'll be putting a lot more work in around here in the coming days so bare with me while I get it updated. I'm terribly sorry for the absence.

I suppose I will update you on my current life for those of you keeping up:

• I am still working at good old Coopers. Next month I'll have survived a full year in the place. Crazy, I know.
• I'm currently living with my fantastic grandpa in BFE outside Van Wert and looking to hopefully get a place of my own to start decorating
• I'm now the owner of two baby rats. Yes. I said rats. Surprisingly they are adorable and awesome pets which I hope to post about in the next week.
• I'm in the process of switching schools to IPFW in Fort Wayne. Also to be explained later. 
• I totaled my journey in a pretty bad accident and finally got a vehicle that is all mine. Talk about feeling grown up and overwhelmed too. 

I'll admit, I think I'm finally getting my life together and things are coming together really nicely. I'll be sure to keep ya'll updated. I'll also be active in posting my goals for the future because I feel like it will motivate me and maybe some of you readers too. Plus it gives me more of a reason to stick to them. 

Huston, We Have A Problem;; Absence

Oh, hey there. I'm still here I promise. Things just got... I would say insane but that would be a bit of an understatement. Here's a bit of an update:

• Started college. Sucked a lot but my classes weren't too bad.
• Got in a bit of legal trouble that I'll explain in detail in a later post. But that required me to go to two different court appearances.
• Two of my grandmas passed away. Again, posts to come.
• Got my first speeding ticket. Had a really bad day that I'll explain later.
• Wrecked my car/my dads car. Part of my bad day. which also resulted in a banged up knee and an ER visit.
• I've moved from Delphos back to Van Wert then moved to Upper Sandusky and now I'm just kinda chilling in Paulding til I secure a place of my own.
• Dropped out of college. Again. Just too much happened this semester that required me to miss class that I couldn't save my grades so I'll be back at it in January
• Moved to second shift yesterday. Took a different position with more money. Strictly business. So now I work 3pm to 3am usually. The overtime sucks a lot but I gotta get the money around to get a place and take care of myself. 

So there you have it. My life sucks. Typical, typical. But head up and keep going, right?

Long Time No See;; I'm Backkkkk!

Miss me?!

I swear I'm back for good! I've been major busy (actually that's probably a major understatement) and without internet but I've been missing this blog like no other and I swear I'm not leaving again (:

Catch up time!

• Still working the factory life. Working like 60-80 hours a week which is 12 hour nights (7pm-7am) seven days a weeks. So much fun. Not. Seeing the same people in the same box gets pretty old. But the paychecks are pretty nice ;)
• New tattoo! So excited to post about this :)
• Gunner is so big now and now he lives with my dad and his family in Upper Sandusky. Post coming.
• I moved! Now residing in Delphos, closer to work with some pretty awesome people :)
• Its summerrrrrrrr! Got a Bucketlist for the next month all started :)
• Fall semester is scheduled. Back at it as of August 21st.
• Mom's family is all moved to Tennessee.. Definitely missing them already.
• Just booked the hotel for my vacation over July Shutdown at work. Tennessee here we come!

Life has just been crazy lately but I wouldn't want anything less. I love the ride and I couldn't be happier :)

Pure Insanity

What?! I'm back?! Crazy, I know. I haven't given up yet, I promise. However, things have been freaking crazy, pure insanity.

• Finished at McDonalds. I was finally burnt out and couldn't take getting screamed at by customers and coworkers and basically busting my ass for barely more than minimum wage. 
• My mom got a house. In Tennessee. Which means that starting in June, this girl is on her own for housing. Scary stuff.
• Started the new job. In a factory. Man is that a trip. I'll have a whole post on that within the next couple days, promise. 
• School still blows mostly. I'm trying. 
• Dad is all settled in in West Virginia and his family will all be down there in June as well so I'll just be chilling in Ohio alone. 
• Trying to get a second job. Gotta make the money to pay the bills. Luckily, I got my credit cards paid off and don't plan on touching them again.
• Got my bank card numbers stolen. Gotta love credit fraud. Brightside, my bank handled it really fast and I didn't lose any money but it was quite a shock.
• The boy and I split. Our schedules just couldn't work together and we were having our differences to begin with so we just broke it off.
• Gunner turned 6 months and let me tell you, he's turning into a freaking horse. But hes still my big baby (:
• I scheduled summer classes. Woohoo. Not. I'm taking College Algebra and some English Lit class. Shoot me?
• 20 more school days in Spring semester for me. Thank the universe. 

So I think thats all the major stuff. I'm really glad to be back though and I have quite a few posts coming here in the next couple days so stay tuned (: Much love!

February Hopes and Updates

For the record, I still have my one for January in my drafts that I never got to finish. Sorry. I'm a slacker. Another sidenote, I should be doing something productive like study for my 2 or 3 midterms today buuuuuuuuut I'm not and I'm not going to. So there.

Anyways! It's now February and there is snow everywhere and its colder than Alaska outside but none of that can get me down! Mostly because soooo much is going good for me currently liiiiiike:

• I got a new job! Thank the heavens because I'm thoroughly over McDonalds and all of its general bull. I start working in a factory (Toledo Mold and Die) on the 17th and let me tell you, I'm stoked. More hours, way more money, third shift, and all kinds of benefits. So thats exciting.
• I'm moving! Well not til like June but I'm getting a place with a couple friends in Delphos, closer to work and I'm definitely ready for that.
• School is going well for the most part. maybe if I went to Algebra... that might help. 
• Got my school refund check and soon I'll get my tax money. Money is generally a good thing to have.

So thats a bit of catch up. I've been doing the same stuff mostly, school and work. Now some goals for this month:

• Ace my midterms. My classes are a joke so I hope I can manage this.
• Stop cussing. Its getting ridiculous
• No cigarettes. I do pretty well with this but work has got me really worked up lately so its been rough.
• Less pop. I think I've been saying this for 4 months... It'll happen eventually.
• Survive.

Miss Me?

Mmmmmmkay! So clearly, I've fallen off the face of the planet (I haven't even tweeted in forever!) so heres the updatedness:

• Back in school! 15 or something credit hours with a ridiculous amount of homework (yay college) plus a 45 minute drive to and from. It's getting old. But I'll talk more on that in a later post.
• Still working... full time. 40+ hours a week. 3-11 every week night (including tonight so I'm making this quick) and third shift on the weekends. So I leave for school at like 7am and don't get home til 11:30pm generally. 
• Raising Gunner. Thats a job in itself and I can't thank my parents enough for helping me out and watching him during the day so that he doesn't have to be caged all the time.

So basically, I'm trying to be a full time student, full time manager, raise a puppy, be a decent friend and have a social life, and on top of that be a good girlfriend to my boyy. It's been rough and I've only been at it for 2 weeks... wish me luck the rest of the semester  I promise I'll be back to posting regularly from here on out :)
